- Summer is a great time for new students to learn to play the piano! Kids are out of school, have more free time and less extra curricular activities. Attending a Summer Music Camp is an opportunity for your student to see if they would like to begin piano lessons. Attending a 4 day Music camp is wonderful jumpstart for new and beginning students.
- For current piano students, continuing to play the piano during the summer is as important as reading. Kids who attend Summer Music Camps and/or lessons have an easier time keeping practice routines in the fall. Also, they will not have to relearn music skills they have forgotten during the summer.
- KIds who attend are encouraged and inspired to continue learning music. They are excited to share what they have learned by performing for their friends and family.

Music S.T.E.M. Monday-Thursday July 8th-11th, 3:00-5:00

Discovering the Harmony Between Piano and Science Your student will participate in hands on science experiments and explore how they relate to playing the piano. Science experiments related to music include: dancing salt, patterns, dissonance, frequency, bending, sound, quicksand, and banana piano. Your child will learn to play piano songs, participate in hands on science experiments and explore how aspects of making music connect with the sciences.

So You Want To Be A Composer: Monday-Thursday July 15th -18th, 9:30-11:30.

This is a fun, creative camp designed to inspire and equip your student to compose their own pieces of music. Students will leave camp knowing how to make a piece of music reflect its title, use motives, organize a piece using a form, and much more. Composing Camp is full of music listening, music making, and music composing. Whether your student is a beginner, just learning to play the piano, or if they have composed many songs they will enjoy the Composing Camp. The So You Want To Be A Composer Camp will be full of creativity and students will learn many tools to help them in their song writing. Also, your child will gain theory and rhythm practice through writing their own music!

Music of The World Music Camp: Monday-Thursday July 22nd-25th, 9:30-11:30am

Music of the World Camp will increase students' awareness and appreciation for cultures that are different from their own--through experiencing the music and learning about each country's instruments, landmarks, and animals. Your child will receive a Music Passport with their picture and travel to different countries around the world. The countries we visit will be Australia, Ghana, China and Peru. This camp will be filled with music games and art projects. During the week, students will make a lap book and several musical instruments. |

Book Blast Music Camp: Monday-Thursday August 5th-8th, 9:30-11:30
Book Blast Camp is for new beginning piano students or piano students at any level who want to accelerate their piano playing. Students feel a huge boost of confidence and motivation for making BIG gains in such a small amount of time!

Book Blast Camp focus on learning new material, and then reviewing through the use of games. Students will be able to move up a level after attending a Book Blast Piano Camp and having a lot of fun! It's the right balance of work and play... each hour is divided up into group interaction, learning new songs, and review games. We have found that two hours of games, creativity, and a little practice is "just right"... you wouldn't believe how many times we hear: "It's time to go already? Students really stretch their creativity...we write music, have fun with ear training, and play music games Many students move through 8 weeks of material in just four days. Summer Music Camp Fundraiser
Need help raising money for Preston Music Academy Summer Music Camps? We have a Piano Practice-A-Thon Fundraiser available!
If your student would like to participate in the Practice-A-Thon Fundraiser, let us know by June 22nd, which camp(s) they would like to attend and they can come for the discounted price after they finish the Practice-A-Thon fundraiser.

Money Back Guarantee: If after the first day of attending a Preston Music Academy Summer Music Camp, your child is not completely enjoying their Music Camp, we will gladly refund your camp fee.
Space is limited in Preston Music Academy Summer Music Camps.
There is a minimum number of 5 students and a maximum number of 12 students per camp. If a camp is full, we will begin a waitlist. If a camp does not meet the 5 student minimum, you can choose to participate in another camp or receive a full refund.
